I'm looking for a fairly basic distortion schematic. I like the Sonic Distortion in the Selected Schematics page, but a few of the capacitor labels are missing. Is it safe to assume that they are intended to be uf?

Also, I'd be interested in any suggested schematics for a distortion pedal.

Thanks!

Yes, those should be uF.

It's a bit hard to suggest distortions without any hints on what you're looking for. What kind of music do you play? What do you want the distortion to sound like?

If you want to build the sonic distortion, check the "other" forum as they have a corrected schematic for it. Not sure if the corrections made it back to this forum or not.

Nothing in particular. I'm actually mostly interested in building, I'm not much of a guitarist. I just thought it would be nice to have a distortion pedal. So unless in general anyone would suggest another over this one, this one should be fine.

Thnaks everyone.
