Mutton Phasor II trimpot adjustment

I have a Mutron Phasor II which has an odd sweep. It's not even and seems like I'm only getting half of the shifting waveform. There are 2 trimpots inside and I wondered if they were in control of this. I tweaked them and it definitely effected the sweep but I'm not sure how they SHOULD be set.

Anyone have any idea? I do have a scope if that is necessary.
