hi folks-
i have two EV S200 pa speakers and an old peavey XR600 powered mixer which works good for my small gigs.
my question is thet i have the chance of buying the EV S200 system controller device which apparently gives some extra freq response and headroom.
i checked the web and found this manual http://archives.telex.com/archives/EV/Miscellaneous%20Electronics/Owners%20Manuals/System%20Xp200%20Owners%20Manual.pdf
which appears to suggest that hookup has to be done at line level with a separate mixer and power amp......

can anyone advise if i could use this system with my existing peavey powered mixer?
the peavey has 1/4 inch jacks for power amp in / aux in / graphic in / graphic out /
outputs for   mon / main / efx and
two each of phonos for tape in and tape out [ maybe these could be used with an adaptor cable quarter inch to phono? ]

thanks guys

thank you sir !
im going to look at it tomorrow will try this suggestion  :)

wait! don't use main out! use graphic out if not used for monitors. check controller manual (online pdf?) for input specs. graphic out looks safer.
