Hi everyone - happy Easter!  :icon_biggrin:
I picked up a blemished 1590BB enclosure from Mammoth for about $5.
It's been drilled for a footswitch, LED and 5 knobs/switches.
Can anyone help me think of a fun effect I can put in this bad boy?  :icon_cool:

Tube screamer with full tone stack.

Of course, you do have the option of covering the top of the enclosure with either PCB material, or a piece of aluminum.

Then, you can build whatever you want.

I really like the painted sides, bare metal top look. :)

If you're not doing it for yourself, it's not DIY. ;)

If you can't think of anything to utilise everything, I've had good luck with filling up botched holes with JB Weld or other epoxy then sanding them flush

Alembic F2B, fet version, with bright switch.

In case you don't want some of the holes, I have filed holes in enclosures before using jb weld or something.  I think if you put tape on the outside and fill the hole from the inside it shouldn't be too much work it is still kind of a pain though.

i like the f2b idea as well as the tube screamer full tonestack.
a tube screamer is a really usefull pedal. with a tonestack where you can scoop the mids a bit...
i might try that!  8)

Make one more hole and you can stick a Dr.Boogey in it... You can have Treb - Mid - Bass - Pres  on top and level and gain in the V pattern...
Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!

Wow - thanks for all the cool ideas guys.  :icon_biggrin:
Is there anything with 5 knobs/switches that is *not* a overdrive/distortion/boost?
Something a little out of left field maybe... could a Maestro FSH fit in this box?...  :icon_mrgreen:

+1 on the Parallel Universe! I LOVE mine. It's a great LM386 based circuit. Version 2 that is.
