the mn3207 will work ,the only difference is the 3007 has a max voltage of 15v,whereas the 3207 runs at a max of 10v...i think

so it wouldn't really matterif it is being used in a 9v effect pedal??

John--

I have both the 3007 and the 3207, though the latter is far cheaper because Chinese-made clones of it remain in production. The low-voltage chip has been used in a number of commercial chorus designs, and I believe some DIYers have also worked with it successfully.

THAT IS NOT ALL!!

You need to switch pin 1 and 5 around. The MN3007 is for negative power supply voltages and the MN3207 for positive power supply voltages.

The MN3207 can be used up to 11V abs. max. Some of the Wall-wart powersupply give you 12V instead of the 9V that's written on them, so you have to take care if you use them.

I buy NTE1641,it's a direct sub and seems to be easier to find and cheaper.
