Whisker Biscuit mods?

My ROG Whisker Biscuit lives in a box with an extra mini-switch hole.  Currently the only non-regular option I have installed is a diode switch (LED or 1n914) which give some very real action.

What other one-off options can you suggest?  Do the optional "smooth" 50pf caps really add enough to put them in there with a switch?  I'd imagine the second one is probably the only one with real effect.

This is an already working pedal so I don't want to burn up the circuit board messing around TOO much!

Okay, I swapped out the 2n5089s with a bunch of tries (including Ge transistors, which sounded great but noisy as hell), and settled on a pair of 2n3903s.  This takes some of the smooth out and makes it much more tame when I roll the volume back while still retaining the WHOOOOOSH of the original when I max it out.

Still looking for any favorite mods, but this is a keeper.
