Hello-

Would greatly appreciate some assistance with this- effect works but it very easily breaks into this insane runaway cascading delay freakout, only way to stop it is by cranking down the controls til it dies down.  I built this from the vero on Sabrotone (http://www.sabrotone.com/?p=1880), only subsitution was a 10k and 4.7k in series to replace the 15k on the infinite switch.  Any assistance is much much much appreciated!!!!!

1.What does it do, not do, and sound like? works, but freaks out into runaway delay
2.Name of the circuit = Rebote 2.5 from Sabrotone
3.Source of the circuit (URL of schematic or project) = http://www.sabrotone.com/?p=1880
4.Any modifications to the circuit? no
5.Any parts substitutions? only the 14.7 series resistors mentioned above
6.Positive ground to negative ground conversion? nope

Ah...yeah the rebote does that! lol.

Watch out when you crank up the repeats particularly on short delay lenghts.  The volume can get insanely loud, very quickly.  I think you can tame that down by replacing a resistor value....i used a trimpot to help pull the point of self oscillation back a bit cause it kept going nuts (tonepad layout).  But its 'part of the fun' with delays :D

one nice little mod i did was change the delay pot from 50k to a 100k....then put a 150k resistor across lugs 2-1...this makes the pot around 60k..

it gives a little more delay time...

i also put a 22k instead of 33k to the level pot, this makes the delay level able to be above your signal...properly.

as for the runaway repeats...yep they are great.... i used a 10k, with a 22k pot and it was fine...self oscillation at around 4/5oclock.. ;)
