Hi all,

Complete newbie to diy stomp boxes.
I've been building a phase 90 using the PCB from tonepad... Its almost finished, I started to wire up the board to the foot switch but I've stopped because how can I be sure of which pin is which?

Have I got it right?

Today someone asked the same question on a different forum I frequent, so since I just saw it, I figured it'd be worth passing along: http://www.buildyourownclone.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37664
With the lugs oriented horizontally (the way you have them in your build), the image in the first post is correct.  You can verify this if you have an Ohm meter.  Simply measure the resistance between two pins you think are connected.  The meter will either read less than 1 ohm if they're connected, or no reading at all if they are not connected.  Anything in between is reason for further inspection/suspect a faulty switch.

Thanks, that's really helpful  :icon_biggrin:

Could you tell me how to connect the DC power jack? and LED? into the circuit.
Am I right in thinking that the 3 grounds go to the pcb?

If you're not going to worry about a battery, this way is pretty cool:
