BSIAB 2 Problems

I  finally  had  a  chance  to  re-wire  my  GGG  BSIAB 2.A couple  of  things  i  noticed  was  the  lack  of  mids  and  hardly any treble  on  the  tone  knob even at 10.Still very dark sounding.Anybody  have  any  ideas  on  what  to  change  to  fix  this?

BSIAB2 is a VERY cool pedal. The tone control can let it down a tiny bit.

even if you have already drilled it, maybe you could make an internal trimmer or something.

@soup: yeah i built that and it was too dark for me too...a guy suggested so many mods that i ended up going back to the drawing board!..and gave up on that version.

then i came up with the spitfire v3 which is essentially a bsiab 'russian version', but i tweaked it and gave it a proper tone control and switchable caps....i love mine..

on the vid i used 4.7n for modern..but i now use 3.3n...for a much tighter punch, and for classic i use 6.8-10n...(note: no amp on vid, just into mixer)

The spitfire's coming next!   I read a post a guy did and it said he changed the 470pf cap to a 560pf.He said he also clipped the two .0022 caps,and went with 2n5457's all over.
