No problem. Let us know if you have any questions, especially after you select your first project.

so I've decided on making a mxr distortion+ but was wondering if anyone has a link for a chorus, overdrive, and noise gate build

Jdansti

If these are your first builds, I wouldn't recommend a chorus or noise gate. Here's an overdrive that is popular:

Another option would be to buy an inexpensive PCB at http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/ and buy the parts to build it.

well, it sounds obvious but you need to know what the task is of the components in question and what altering them might do.

for a certain topology, i'd suggest you go through a Geofex "Technolo of..." read. They are great help to understand what's going on:

this has lots of useful information too, give it a read and it should get your brain juice flowing: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/richardo/distortion/index.html
