I'm doing a build and was asked if it was possible to make custom knobs for the box.  I'm always up for a challenge and figure almost anything is possible with some elbow grease (or brain grease)  ;D

He has some old heads from some star wars figures that he would like to become knobs for the build.  I have asked around and was told there might be some form of substance (not glue, wise guys  :P) that when poured into the hollow knob/head would solidify around a suspended pot shaft and be removable like a regular push on knob.

Any thoughts/ideas/help would be awesome.   If it works, I'm thinking about some .45 rounds for a future project's knobs as well.

Hobby lobby has mold making supplies. You can also use epoxy to make his existing heads into knobs using the brass cores  from existing knobs.
