I know I'll need extra stuff like a 3dpt switch but, are these all the components I'll need to populate this circuit?

-Thanks

Also, what is the name of this wire connector?

the in and out jacks arent listed , then you would have a battery clip / dc input jack , led and bezel , stompswitch and a housing . you dont have to get a 3pdt stomp switch if you are not going to use an led . that would save a buck or two , and it would draw less power .

a 100k hot pot , hmm not sure what the hot part means .... i am guessing its a pot designed for a wah wah , like with a gear for the treadle , prolly expensive too .

when i looked at that connector the first thing that popped in my mind was" DIP pin header " , but  ...

from the little i know about wah wah circuits the main ingredient is the inductor , they are $$ (20 ?) , and depending on what you get will influence the tone quite a bit .
im learning , we'll thats what i keep telling myself

Do I really need a DIP pin header? Couldn't I just solder the wires right to the ciruit instead? Or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks.

If you plan on disassembling something frequently it can come in handy (like a prototype or something where you're constantly tinkering), making the process much faster.

I did that approach on my wah pedal and two weeks later I ended up soldering everything anyway. The worst thing is to have that connector come loose in the middle of a gig  :P
