DAM meathead pF caps on Q1 and Q2

I saw a schematic of this circuit where there are pF caps across the B-C of both transistors.  I am assuming that this is to reduce some of the shrill edge of fairly high gain silicon transistors.  Why, though, is the cap across the B-C of Q1 so much higher than that across the B-C of Q2 (470pF vs. 47pF)?  I haven't seen that much of a discrepancy in other circuits that use this technique...
