Hello everyone,

I was given some old pedals wich happen to be vintage Electro Harmonix!

unfortunately they have issues  and I'd like (with your help if possible) to bring them back to life. The DMM and HOT TUBES lack power transformers, and I'm wondering if they were modded  since I haven't heard of pedals of that time and type working on walwarts!  a wire from the power switch is loose, no idea where it goes :(

The DMM besides the transformer is lacking even a power jack and calls for 24 VAC

The HT asks for 24 VAC as well, and it seems to have suffered some mods, like a weird bridge and a desoldered resistance.

So, the questions: is it possible to make the DMM wrkd on 24DC with a "regular" new wal wart? in not, what kind of transformer (references) do I need to get in order to make it work? I hope it is calibrated! Same with the HT: would it be possible to make it work in 9V DC like in the clone that's  around? Any help, advice, guidance is very welcome. Someone GAVE me these pedals for free so I guess the meast I can do is try and repair them. I'm good at cloning, and following step by step instructions on how to build these thingies, but figuring things like this on my own is still a tad above my skills.

In advance, THANK you very much for your help!

Andy

Eh pedals made for the Canadian market used wall warts instead of internal transformers.
