Most of the usual suppliers sell the momentary switches with large cases. Any idea where to get these:

I'm pretty sure the actuator is this http://www.smallbearelec.com/servlet/Detail?no=32

Not so sure about the switch but you're going to be looking among the various pcb mounted microswitches, heres a selection from one manufacturer http://www.innovision.us/MicroSwitch.htm

cool...thanks!

wonder if the spring is adjustable (or can be cut down) to fine tune to accomodate various distances between switch and actuator?

gotta be careful with those switches. they put a lot of stress on them and the PCB. the line6 dl4 number one issue was always exactly this type of switch failing after after quite a bit of use. ive fixed so mant friends' dl4s  :'(

good info...i notice they "click" too (i had imagined that soft switches don't). do the various other momentary switches available click as well? i'm working on a trye bypass toggle arrangement 'cuz i sure hate the vacuum cleaner switch click.

another source question: what are they called/where do i search for for small pots.... like this:

John Lyons

The click on those switches is very minimal.
The pots are for sale at smallbear. 9mm alpha.
