Does anyone know if the forum supports something like a library where we could post links to reference documents?

Very under utilized but check out the wiki at the top of the screen.

Thanks!  One of those things that was right in front of my face!  I'll have to look into that tonight.

I'm wondering if it might be worth making a repository on this site for all this stuff?  How many times do we see dead links?  "We're sorry, this image seems to have been deleted or moved" or just a blank space?  It would mean even more bandwidth for aron, though :(  However, as long as this site exists, so will all these documents, rare schematics, etc.  It'll be a job and a half collating it all and indexing it sensibly, though?  Search function?  Loads of work.

totally. i've started archiving on my own computer. mostly going through project threads and removing the posts that are troubleshooting questions like, "can I use a 2N3904 instead?", or comments like, "thanks, this rules!", while keeping the comments that are relevant and wise. That cuts out about 75% of the thread. When I'm done compiling one or two, I'll upload them to the wiki. Started with the Little Angel, moving on to Tiny Giant, Echo Base, Valve Caster, etc.

For anyone who might be interested. I have created and thruhole PCB layout for this delay using www.expresspcb.com I have the corresponding schematic posted also. I have built this layout and verified it is correct. If you are not familiar with expresspcb - it is an easy way to generate PCBs and you download the tool from there website. This layout can be modified to suit anyone's preferences. Right now it is designed to fit in a 1590b stomp box. The only surface mount part is the MAX7401 IC which is a SOIC8. All of this info and earlier posts with demos are available at www.circuitsalad.com.

Finally there was a minor error in my original schematic, a capacitor used to eliminate pops on the enable/disable switch was on the wrong side of the diode controlling the JFET used as the bypass switch. The new schematic has corrected this.

For anyone interested, I found that Mouser DOES have a through-hole version of the 8th order filter chip:

I'm picking one up for experimentation. Obviously this won't help with Ray's layout he posted, but it might help if anyone else is looking to experiment. I'd like to look into the idea mentioned on page 1 with linking the clocks, but it might take a while, and I just finished designing another delay. If anyone has a suggestion of where to start with that, just point me in the direction of some reading material. :)

^Digikey has the through hole version as well. As well, Octapart identifies a few more suppliers that i'm not familiar with.

Anyone successfully create a stripboard layout for this?
