hey all..  another newb question here  lol

motion controlled ring mod pedal http://www.illumiringer.com

looks pretty cool, maybe priced a little high.. but screw it..  it's for a good cause and the thing looks rad.

has anyone heard of this thing or tried building one?

It looks pretty cool, but it's not the first motion controlled ring modulator.  The first one I ever saw/used was the Lovetone Ring Stinger with the photocell expression input, there may be older things.

Yeah - go for it. Let us know how it works for you.

I am going to do it, I will post pictures and samples of the build when it is done.

I might just grab the PCB and build instructions... cheapest option ($25), and I am sure I can take it from there.
Also, I am sure that he will send out the PCBs before the full kits, pedal etc.  I hate waiting for crap!  lol

Looks pretty cool! Would love to hear about your experiences building it, if you do.
