OK, so I will describe the circuit here. I have all 3 schematics in sight. All circuits described as NPN. (Original is PNP, instructions are included on how to change from NPN to PNP)

Can anyone help me with C2, R6 and VR2 on the supa fuzz2 (last one).

Vox Tone Bender Mrk II Pro (Basic Fuzz Face circuit with an input transistor in front) Originally PNP. Original transistors Mullard OC81D germanium.

C1 - Input cap 5uF postive side to transistor base
R1 - 100K base to ground
R2 - 10K bias from 9V on first transistor collector
C2 - .1uF coupling cap from 1st trans to 2nd
R3 - 100K biasing resistor from -V to 2nd transistor collector
R4 - 470 ohm from 9V to R5
R5 - 8.2K from R4 to collector of 3rd transistor (out signal is tapped from the junction of R4 and R5)
R6 - 100K from emitter of 3rd trans to base of 2nd transistor.
VR1 - Drive pot, 1K from junction of R6 and 3rd transistors emitter to ground. Wiper connects to C4 which goes to ground.
C4 is 5uF and goes from the wiper of VR1 to ground. Positive side to wiper of VR1.
C5 is the output cap which is .01uF to a VR2 which is a volume pot.
VR2 is a 100K pot - standard wiring.

That's it!

Also, there's the typical 50uF from V+to ground for power supply filtering.

What I have described is NPN. To make it PNP, make +9V GROUND. Reverse the polarities of the 2 electrolytic caps. Reverse the Battery polarity. What was ground is now +9V The original circuit was PNP - sorry I see almost everything as NPN!

NPN Version

C1 - Input cap 1uF postive side to transistor base
R1 - 100K base to ground
R2 - 41K bias from 9V on first transistor collector
C2 - .1uF coupling cap from 1st trans to 2nd
R3 - 41K biasing resistor from 9V to 2nd transistor collector
R4 - 410 ohm from 9V to R5
R5 - 8.2K from R4 to collector of 3rd transistor (out signal is tapped from the junction of R4 and R5)
R6 - 100K from emitter of 3rd trans to base of 2nd transistor.
VR1 - Drive pot, 1K linear from junction of R6 and 3rd transistors emitter to ground. Wiper connects to C4 which goes to ground.
C4 is ??? uF and goes from the wiper of VR1 to ground. Positive side to wiper of VR1.
C5 is the output cap which is .01uF to a VR2 which is a volume pot.
VR2 is a 470K log pot - standard wiring.

What I have described is NPN. To make it PNP, make +9V GROUND. Reverse the polarities of the 2 electrolytic caps. Reverse the Battery polarity. What was ground is now +9V The original circuit was PNP - sorry I see almost everything as NPN!
