hi guys,
taking a break from my frustrating dual-band Engineer's Thumb disaster of a project, i'm making a Woolly Mammoth for a friend. it's just too small. it needs a considerable dose of "pointless cool s***". so i'm thinking i could maybe use a dual opamp to buffer both the effect and the clean signal and a blend pot.
there only really seems to be one thread on this: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=101149.0 (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=101149.0) .
Slacker says you should put an inverting buffer before the EQ. where should i take the feed from? before or after C5 (100uF)? schem here: http://analogguru.an.ohost.de/193/schematics/Zvex_WoollyMammoth.gif (http://analogguru.an.ohost.de/193/schematics/Zvex_WoollyMammoth.gif)
then i found this (sorry to post loads of links), which is someone taking the signal from after the EQ to be buffered. is that no good?
it's cool to use one side of a dual opamp as non-inverted and the other side as inverted, er, right...?
cheers!
damnit, just realised that that post probably didn't mean the stock EQ in the Woolly Mammoth might be inverted. here's something i came up with anyway.
