Title: Tap-Tempo Modul from UK-Electronic.de
Post by: therealfindo on September 12, 2013, 08:37:26 AM
Hi,

anyone had any experience with this tap-tempo module (from Germany) http://www.uk-electronic.de/Download/Beschreibung%20Tap%20Tempo%20mit%20TA.pdf ?

I've built kits from them before, so it's not a question of quality - what I'm after is a tap tempo that will let me select the subdivision (e.g. dotted eights) easily..

Thanks.

I have not tried but I most probably will.
It's rather cheap compared to other offers I have seen on the other side of the pond
If i am not mistaken uk-elektronic are the ones who build the "MEK"pedals which have quite a good reputation around here, quality-wise.
Considering the price it's worth the try
Thanks for the info ! ;-)

Edit: I will not have time in the near future to try it out. But if you do, I would love to hear your feedback about it :-)

Yeah, the quality is decent.. I've got a nice 280 optical comp I built from them, a OCD which is also great, and the tap tremolo.. I'm not 100% sold on the mini pots for the trem.. but in the case of a delay, I'll just add this to another diy build..

I did get a reply from them that the subdivisions can be selected by turning the 'time' pot while the tap switch is pressed.. I'd prefer a simple selector switch for those, but no idea how to make a mod like that.. any ideas?

Not based on their documentation. Maybe drop them an email
