Title: Modding my guyatone VT-X tremelo
Post by: Nyklus on September 27, 2013, 01:38:06 AM
and i am thinking of doing some mods to my vt-x,
i love it. I just got it in the mail today.

I moded the guyatone tube echo and you can hear it here

i had idea of adding a slider pot to control the value of the "intensity" this way i can slide in the effect and also get the tube tone without the tremelo. so double whammy. I was also thinking of doing something interesting with the slow/fast switch since you can get access to the full range with the switch set to "fast", I thought maybe i'd make the slow side of the switch "faster" and see where i can take it by changing the resistance of the speed.

yep so all this plus a true bypass, which is easy.
