Title: Question for Tremulus Lune builders
Post by: lapsteelman on March 05, 2016, 05:42:19 PM
In the comments on the Tonepad page they talk about changing the trimmer to 10k, and that it might be a good idea to use a panel mount pot.

Did you roll with the trimmer, or panel mount pot?  Is it worth it to have access to it?

I built mine (it's been a long time now, 5+ years and I don't have it anymore) with just the trimmer.  As I recall, it 'dialed in' nicely and I never needed to touch it again...

I would go with the panel mounted pot
Because if you turn the depth knob all the way down you now have a great clean boost
giving this pedal even more options
I was thinking of adding another stomp switch and gain pot to mine that would toggle from
trem volume to boost volume and bypass the depth control at the same time
2 pedals in 1 and easy to use live
and we all know this thing needs more switches and knobs

Not a bad idea, Mike, for those so inclined ;)   I prefer Mosfet boosts, but that's just my rig.
