Title: Fender REVERB/VIBRATO FOOTSWITCH diagram/schematic
Post by: Super Locrian on April 25, 2016, 03:32:03 AM
Hi, does anyone have an easy to follow diagram for this footswitch? I want to have LEDs.

I found this one, but not sure if it's the best way of doing it?

Assuming the current two foot switches are SPDT (single pole double throw) you'll have to swap them out for two DPDT (double pole double throw) as the schematic implies - to have the relay space for the LEDs.

The only note I can make is I would put the resistor from the + voltage to the middle lug leaving the bottom unconnected. Though I feel this is more of a preference.

Look up how these relays function to understand best. It's very simple.

That schematic will suffice. Try using 200 ohm resistors or whatever your preference may be.

I have an interesting variation on this topic. I have two Fender Princeton Reverb Reissues and want to simultaneously control the vib/rev on each of them. Example: two switches (vib + rev) and two jacks (one to each amp). Clicking the "vib" switch turns on/off vibrato for both amps, similar for reverb.

LEDs would be nice, but not necessary.

Could someone help me out with parts/schematic for this?
