Title: Need a new PCB prototyping service
Post by: johngreene on October 12, 2016, 11:13:14 AM
I've been using sunstone for more than 10 years for running PCB prototypes. None of the boards I do are very complicated so I never had much reason to risk trying a new one as the 2-day turnaround was critical with the majority of the schedules I get. Apparently they just changed their limits on their quick turn services so now holes larger than 0.260" are now considered "cutouts" and they have a maximum limit of 4. I asked when this new restriction went into effect and what are my options for getting the board I had just submitted. The email they sent was full of spelling errors and rather poor English with double negatives sprinkled throughout liberally, I got an email back that started off like this: "We have revived your e-mail, and we will try and explain it in a way that you can understand, sorry about that."
Soooo, I'm looking for a new protyping service. It needs to be fairly complete meaning soldermask, silkscreen, plated through holes, etc. as I am using it to validate layouts. But they are always 2 layer, FR4 boards but they sometimes contain slots or cutouts. I frequently use PCB mounted transformers that need slotted mounting holes and parts that mount to the board with a post that requires a plated-through 0.280" hole.
Anyone have a service they have used that does quick turnaround, low quantity (2) runs that they have had a good experience with?

Like to recommend Yucha Electronics pvt ltd. (http://www.joga-pcba.com ). On my last visit to Shenzhen City ( China) got FR4 boards prototype assembled . They are 25 + years old local PCB Fabricators have there own PCB Board manufacturing lines .
