Title: SKG drive
Post by: george_drakakis on May 02, 2017, 10:19:42 AM
hi,
i have learned so much form the DIY community and it's time to give something back.
please welcome SKG booster-overdrive effect pedal suitable for bass/guitar.
It's a Fet pre-amp capable to deliver either transparent or more aggressive overdrive tones using a 2SK30 n-channel JFet transistor.
A three way selector switch sculpts the output waveform and let you dial from tight to phat tones without volume loss.

the schematic itself aint't something new,
what's more important is that, the project is open to modifications;
the most critical parts -including the transistor- can be easily swapped out,
since the whole schematic is realized on an IC precision socket (immitating old-school amplifier wiring.)
