I'm adding a jfet boost to an Octave Multiplexer xo.
Does this sketch look correct?

Rewire the 3PDT switch or you'll get a PS short-circuit when switch is in upper position.. :icon_wink:
If you want the boost after the effect, connect PCB OUT to Boost IN & Boost OUT to Jack OUT..
(other INs & OUTs as normal..)
Connect Boost +9V to any convenient point but not through 3PDT switch..
(it will be activated by stereo input jack w plug in..)
What about a Mosfet boost?

I give up, Sir...!!! :icon_cry:
(can't fight your incurable bout...) :icon_razz:
if you are already adding an 3pdt switch why not
adding 2 ?
like on this layout (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-T8OdqPmP_2Q/UG3WZyt28aI/AAAAAAAAC5U/lTz0RyZXAG8/s1600/!Offboard+wiring+-+dual.png)
On your drawing the 9v is connected directly to the ground in the 'up' position
I believe Kristopher wants to modify the already excisting 3PDT switch with permanently placing the Booster on effect's output...
A big thank you to Antonis!
You pointed me in the right direction. Literally.
I was looking at the switch backwards. In's were out's type thing.
I never wanted a separate switch for the boost; just unity volume when engaging the pedal. The Multiplexer has a volume drop which makes it unusable when live.
The. Jfet boost is supposed to be a clean boost. But it has a little bit of grit, which i can live with. I may pop in a LPB-1 later on, we'll see. The jfet schematic I found online, in a buffer boost build lesson at Seymour duncan and/or Tonefiend. I plan to set the trim pot at unity (or a touch above) and enjoy.
Again, a big thank you.
