Here's some of my music.
"In the groove" has a fun trade w/ keys and guitar at the end.
"Funky Weather" is something Weather Report guys might like.

Uh, there's a few on a label site.

It's all in flash, so you have to poke around a little- enter the site, click on audio (on of the "A"s at the top of the window, and go to the Common Cold. I think there are 4 mp3's there.
OK,
Greg
I can't stop building distortion boxes long enough to do the digital sound stuff.
My band's website has a couple of mp3's (Neil Young tribute): www.brokenarrow.ca
My brother and sister's band's site too (original funk/blues/r&b) www.boyerband.com
aron - another keys player who builds guitar stomps! :D me too!
i do play guitar as well tho in a hardcore band, idle faction:

Greg - I'm not a big fan of your band's kind of music, but I like it nevertheless. It's very "screamo" minus the scream.
I do noiserock, noisetechno, folk music, electroacoustic, and a bit of múm like techno here and there... but I don't have much recorded :)

Greg: You're in The Common Cold? This is Sam from the band Kayo Dot. I just met yr guitarer Kevin a few months ago...he mentioned that people in his band were into the whole pedal building thing...
Anyway, here's my band: http://www.kayodot.net (I'm a drummer incidentally, so tack that onto the list of non-guitarist pedal builders...)
I just write & record songs by myself... released a CD last year on a local label (Sharing Machine) under the name "drew".
I just recorded this - http://www.toothpastefordinner.com/drew-belgium.mp3 -
and you can find some older songs at http://www.toothpastefordinner.com/music.php.

Hey, Kevin played me your cd in The Van a couple of months ago. I really dug it. He told me you guys played a show with one of the guys from Goblin. What was that all about?

This December will mark our fifteenth anniversary of our first show!
Hard to describe our sound, but there are guitars, there are pedals, there are melodies, there are songs. Kind of a cross between the Beach Boys and Swervedriver...

Hey, good singing!
It is a juno 106! I love the filter in it.
Also I like the Curtain Society songs, they're great! And it's like a cross between beulah and my bloody valentine... or any pop and shoegaze band that you like I guess! :)

Haha - Yeah Claudio Simonetti, (who I guess was the primary songwriter in Goblin?) has a new band whose name is escaping me right now, but we played right before them at a festival in California. They even played part of the "Suspiria" soundtrack if I recall correctly...In any case they were pretty great classic heavy metal/horror soundtrack stuff...

Hehe - yeah there's some variation...I'll have to post a sound clip from the album where we used my broken, wrong Tycobrahe Octavia as a vocal effect.

While the TBOctavia is reaally greaat on guitar, I've actually been more excited about what it does to other stuff like vocals and drum mixes. Anybody else out there have some experience with this?
Greg
There's also a fair amount of EH Bass Balls and Dr Q on the record for vocal effects...
hey tubbass~
if i know correctly...are you from norman?
