Title: Marshall BB-2 faint signal
Post by: Yorick on October 29, 2017, 08:58:13 AM
I've got a Marshall bb-2 with a very faint signal. Everything works properly, the output signal is just very low. I've got limited electronic knowhow but I suspect one of the transistors (tr2 or tr3)  So before I start replacing working parts, does anyone know which one it is/had the same problem? :)

Edit: schematic added

Yorick,

Did you get it this way? Are you using Proper power supply or fresh battery? It it a fault the unit has developed?...etc...etc..

It is always better to say as much as you know and have tried to check yourself when you say:...?..It's broken..?.. It will be a good

learning experience to get to know the workings of what your using. Have you checked the plug mates only with the contacts it's

supposed to with the jack exposed [lid off!] Sounds like a part-short across the output..? If the Debugging hasn't helped you, let us

know what you tried to do...
