I am working on a layout for the ProCo Rat. I was wondering if I would run into a problem using a 4558 type dual op-amp instead of the single op-amp that it came with? Will that work O.K. assuming that I handle the pin-out changes? Does the lack of Offset Null connections cause a problem?
I was thinking this would be better since I have a bunch of dual op-amps. Any thoughts.

i haven't noticed too much problems but i did notice you don't get that nasty rat sound, unless you use a nasty opamp.
