Title: Fading between two pedal circuits ...
Post by: bifurcation on January 05, 2019, 11:47:42 PM
Hey all,

I built a Shin-Ei clone and a Seppuku Space Fuzz clone. Both are super nasty high-gain fuzzes, but it turns out one circuit is super bright and splattery and the other is a wall of low end.

I was thinking it would be cool to house them both in the same case and use a pot to fade between the two, but I'm assuming I can't just install any old pot and call it good (especially because the Shin-Ei is super gated and I imagine below a certain level the guitar signal won't even reach the gate threshold.

Could I just split my input and fade between the outputs? Would I need a buffer before I split the guitar signal?
