Spaceman makes some fuzz pedals with Silicon transistors. Does anyone know what kind they use?

In some rare cases, we know because they didn't bother sanding of the id's off. In most cases, I sub in transistors that closely match the voltages of the original. 99.9% of the time, performance is identical to the original. They occasionally use some exotic stuff, but nothing that you can't replicate with off the shelf stuff.

I can appreciate that pedal makers are entitled to retain key information for themselves that might be hard to come by.
