Title: Engineer's Thumb 12v safe?
Post by: ficelles on February 05, 2022, 08:57:45 PM
I'm wondering if it's ok to run an Engineer's Thumb at 12v? Can't see any obvious issue...

(my two ET builds are DeadEndFX and PedalPCB)

Looks good to me. The OTA can take well above that (3x that).  As long as the caps are rated for it, should be fine (I'd want 16v caps or better, just for a margin).

Caps are all 35v or more so no problem there, wasn't sure about the 1N5817 Schottky diode...

Looks good, 12v is within specs.
