I have seen a fair few MkII tonebenders with a toggle option to take q1 and poss the input cap/pulldown resistor, out of the circuit.
From the schematic I can see it really is that simple - and I know from reading on here that the MkII q2 and q3 voltages are basically a MkI.V if done right.
So, is it fair to say *any* good MkII can have a really good MkI.V hidden inside it?
Or is it more complicated than that?
