Title: Loop Switcher grounding question
Post by: m7b52000 on June 21, 2023, 03:45:24 AM
Have been pondering this box. Would it be better if the DC Jack Ground was also attached to one of the audio jack sleeve/GND?

Not necessarily, as long as particular DC jack only serves for LEDs indicator powering..
(actually, it should be wise to NOT be connected to effects ground(s) for popping and ground loops prevention..) :icon_wink:

edit: typos  :icon_redface:

+1 agree, it's better *not* connected. The LED current would be prone to making clicks in the audio if they share a ground. Often having the grounds connected is unavoidable, but here they can be separated, so they probably should be.
