Title: Position current limiting resistor
Post by: Max9999 on October 16, 2023, 02:45:33 PM
Greetings,

Looking at the common Boss schematics I always see the input current limiting resistor (R45 and R48 here) done as the top drawing.
Is it ok to switch positions so there is no voltage divider formed like in the bottom drawing? Its a really small difference in attenuation but why not keep the 50mdB when you can  :)  I dont think the bias current cares because it already goes through 2M.

I see no issue with moving it, as the 10k is such a tiny value compared to the VB resistor...
