For the people building with Aion's PCBs (not kits)
How do you prefer to run the wiring from the switching board to the mainboard? Lately I've been swapping between these two ways:

The first one, the wires go through the strain relief on the switch board and bend in an S-shape to come up from underneath into the main board, and are soldered from the component side.
The second one, the wires go through the strain relief on the switch board and come straight down into the component side of the main board, and are soldered from underneath.
I've had good results with both, but I'm not sure about which one is more robust, if either. Especially when using really nice pre-bond wire, which allows for more flex and less chance of snapping than solid core.
I've also occasionally been lazy and just ran the wires from the component side of the switch board to the component side of the main board in an inverted "U" shape, and very rarely, ran the wires from the underside of the switchboard to the underside of the mainboard in a normal "U" shape.
Clearly only one way is correct and we should all argue about it on the internet, so which one is it?
Option 2 is closest to how the wire headers would be for the kits, and is how I imagined it being done with normal soldered wires. The main advantage is that it's a lot easier to desolder & resolder from the top without pulling the PCBs out of the enclosure, provided you leave enough bare wire that the iron can get to it without melting the insulation. It's a beast to try to resolder wires from the bottom like that if you ever have to.
Beyond that, I wouldn't expect any difference in regard to the long term durability.

Makes sense, thank you! I am getting a friend in on the fun of building and I wanted to make sure I was giving him good advice here.
