Title: AC107 in Rangemaster?
Post by: saros141 on November 22, 2003, 03:44:03 AM
Hi folks, great forum.

I've been scrounging parts for a RM build and I found a nice Valvo AC107.  It looks like an OC44 (black jacket), and the data looks very close.  Anybody try one?

Aside from the OC44 and OC71, what else sounds good in this circuit?

thanks

Almost any germanium transistor with fairly low leakage and decent
gain will do it justice. Try some 2SBxxxs - had great results with 'em.
