Title: 1 Meg...fits in Wah
Post by: petemoore on December 07, 2003, 12:56:42 AM
I put a Small Stone in an old Wah shell, the range pot directly across from where the 100k [ ! ] [with the gear] pot for the Wah used to be/
I had intended to use the treadle as speed control...
...anybody know how to fix a work alike gear for wah on a regular pot shaft?
I have the gear from the Wah, doesn't fit the regular potshaft.
Looking for the zaktfit 1 meg/// or a way to retro the gear on the 1 meg

too big or too small for the shaft..   if it is too big for the shaft you can cast a whole other part for it. adn then drill otu the correct size.   or you can add in some plastic resin and superglue and then redrill correct size for pot.. or if it is too small then use a hot soldering  iron to it and meltt th correct size or drill it.  how ever.  hope that helps from my lowfi way of donig it

I think I understand-the shaft isn't fitting for one reason or another?  If it's too big, there's a good chance you can take a hacksaw to it (I've done this before).  If it's too small, then getting another part would be no big deal (as is the case for too big), but you could always just put the gear on the end of it a bit far sticking out.. and if it's too big to fit the gear on it, if that's what your saying, get a new pot!
