Hi everyone,
I was talking to a friend yesterday how I make pedals, and he said he's made alot of pedals and effects in the past from learning a book that Joe Walsh (from the Eagles) wrote about music electronics/ effects as Joe used alot of effects he made. He no longer has it as someone stole it, does anyone know of this book?
he mentioned that very few people know about it as the book is very hard to find.
it is the forward to craigandertons electronic projects for musicians
they tell me you can get it at amazon.com. but funny thing is when i went to buy one last week they were out. even though they said they had 4 copies. good luck on finding one. i found mine in a pawnshop about four years ago.
The book came with a plastic 33 1/3 rpm square record where Joe Walsh played some stuff for each project in the book.
I have a newer copy of that book with a CD instead of a floppy record. It has the foreword by joe.
If you want a couple pages I can scan them.
Matt.

I don't know about the States, but to buy a new copy here is fairly pricey. I went along to my library and got a inter-library loan instead (he'll have got a royalty so it's not as bad as it sounds).
Although (obviously) a talented man, his circuits didn't really click with me (no hate mail please - just a subjective opinion) and I've never felt inclined to buy the book having seen it.
I fully understand that at the time he was one of the few putting info out there, so hats off to the bloke! But, there are so many designs out there on the net based on the circuits in his book, that personally I don't feel the need to own it.

Obviously, you are still hurt by this.
