i'm glad i never gave up~
turned out that both of the 4.7uf caps i had in there were dead... :? once i got it working i started swapping tranny's like mad...
the 2n5089's recomended, had real coppy trem, too much gain... but also alot of gross fuzz... so i tried some 2n2222's. the output was too low, and the trem was sublte...
i ended up with 2n2222's for Q1. and Q4... and then the highest hfe 2n5089's in the twin osclilators(Q2.Q3) and the result is: really clean, but choppy tremelo... at perfect unity, that chops really nicely as the note decays... i will grap a mic from practice, and record a sample asap...
now i understand why people are paying decent money for the cheesey plastic originals... thanks again to everyone who helped me out, on to the next project...
