Title: More op amp madness!
Post by: David Barber on December 22, 2003, 01:01:36 PM
Here is the latest installment on the Op amp stacking theme.

By changing the circuitry to the top op amp you can mix responses. One of the new parallel chips gives any dual op amp overdrive/distortion a clean blend...just plug it in and away you go! We have easily clipped contacts and added resistors to cause one chip to distort later than the other (dynamic mixing) and clipped the terminals to the tone shaping side so only the clipping side would be affected. Seperate clipping elements for each chip is pretty simple too. We have tried a load of other circuits but I thought these seemed like the ones players might dig hearing about.

The plug in clean blend for dual op amp overdrives is sure to perk up some ears!

Maybe even build a whole effect on top of one.

it would be great until you put a stomp switch on it.
