After 7 tries I got working~!!! This thing adds some nice tone to my rig without even using it as a boost~!!!!
I'm not sure why it refused to work but I'm glad it does now.
Very nice Jack~!!! I wish I could post a pic of it.
anyway, I thought I wopuld share that since I have been trying to get this thing working for a month.
Keep up the good work Mr. Jack Orman :-)

i hate it when stuff doesnt work right away. I built a fuzz face over a year ago, and it NEVER worked, or at least not like it should. I still have the board in a shoe box somewhere.
Brian, pull that sumbitch out and get it working! Did you get your q2 tranny biased correctly?

I really like the *magic dust* factor this pedal has. I tend to leave it on all the time and tweak the volume knob with my foot. Must be the high input/low output impedance buffer effect that tends to adds that little sparkle. Very versatile, as it works well for both clean and overdriven tones.

One's in a box, [nice box] and that boxs been [on the pedal board for sometime now.
The others ... one got scavved' cuz dintwerk the other other one was werkin and's layin by the bench.
It's gonna get fixed and cloned to go on the other side of the Tonebender cause it's noisy and the TB doesn't like it.
I should be asking about a PNP or pos ground Mosfet Boost Ckt., so I can build that, and put it on what would normally be the bypass side of the TB switch...of course if I get them both in the same house but separated this way they'll have to behave and get along...
Once I could get that going it would be entered as my choice...if I only could have one pedal what would it be...[great electric guitar players are like great poker players...'guys' with skills who know how to cheat...
bwanasonic: I agree~!!! I leave it on also. It does add some nice tone to my setup~!!!
I',m glad I didn't give up on it now :D

maybe i'll make one of those next. i was planning to make a rangemaster but now i'm not sure wich. is there anywhy to put them in the same box and have it work as like a a/b switcher magig? the mosfet booster can be made with a 2nd output so it could be possible....
