This is the odd thing. They look just like a si trannie but the the middle leg is cut very short but it is on tape so that doesn't jive.
Missed that before I left the surplus house.
Searched and no luck.
The numbers are P31008
Second line: A70

Any info appreciated.
Thanks!
what i do to find parts probably isn't the best but i got to the nte site and search the part numbers to see if they have a substitute and a data sheet for the part number i have... they are usually pretty close but sometimes i can't find any info... good luck...

What I do in these situations, is to stick it in a HFe test socet of a multimeter, if you can find one way around that has gain, then you know it is a transistor! That number doesn't look like any normal transistor series, but it could still be one.
I will try that tonight! Thanks Paul. The NTE thing I tried but no luck.
Thanks again guys!
