Title: Op Amp Big Muff PI
Post by: petemoore on January 08, 2004, 10:03:36 AM
I still haven't figured this one out...
 Anyone with a sucessful build?
I haven't found a 'definitive' schematic that I can Really understand...maybe if I started building on one it would 'take' [register], but so far, from what Iv'e seen, each one has inserts, non-understood switching [No-one here knew as of last try], or something else that's prevented me from trying...
Basically I want to figure it out before I start populating a perf with parts.

This is more a one-trick-pony than the transistor version, but if it's your cuppa...
I have an old one lying around somewhere, so if there's any confusion on the schem I can dig it up. Will take some time though.
What exactly is the problem? EH used whatever they had lying around, so there's bound to be some variation in parts values. Nothing to worry about.
The switching system chooses between effect out and the output of the first opamp as a buffer. You can leave out the connection from the buffer to the switch and wire for true bypass as with any other effect (input jack to switch to effect in, effect out to switch to output jack, and a short between the two bypass poles on the switch.)
