Title: direct/line out from an amp (link) need help
Post by: cedric on January 08, 2004, 03:38:24 PM
just stumbled over the 'switchable speaker line-out' here:
http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/pedals.html (down a few notches).
but there's no info on it - or a schem.
the idea sound REALLY nice and i could really use this.

sending amp-tone to other effects and sending them to the PA.
or on to a different amp.

there's a volume pot in his box/idea - which would be for changin between:
1) sending to other amps (volume high) or
2) sending to pedals (volume low)

but there's no schematic there.
any help?

Search the messages, this has been talked about before.

However, take a look at my Carvin amp, right at the speaker out.

There are the two resistors and even another cap to roll off the highs.

Make the two caps variable and you got your pedal.

yeah iøve searched the forums, but i didn't find anything related to the pedal at that site.

seen your carvin schem before - it's pretty nice. thanks!

hope you mean 'resistors' instead of caps there?

Do you mean a Direct Injection box?  To take amp output and feed it to a mixer or back into a pedal?  If so, there's an excellent project at Elliott Sound Products page;http://sound.westhost.com/project35.htm
