Title: Checking circuit--need help w question
Post by: jimbob on January 09, 2004, 11:31:08 PM
I built the Tube Reamer from http://www.runoffgroove.com/tubereamer.html

Im out of switches for a few days and was wondering how i would connect it without one. Would i simply make sure i have 9v going to the designated place on the board and the black wire to ground? or is there something im forgetting?

Yes, build it exactly as shown, run the in to the tip of the input jack and the out to the tip of the output jack. When you get your switch you can just add it in. If you're going to test it without putting it into a metal box make sure you run the ground wire to both jacks.

I just finished a dual version of this about a week ago. I just used a dual op amp and two seperate stomp switches. It should fit nicely into a Raco box. Don't ask me to describe the sound beyond tube screamerish (which should be fairly obvious given the name). If your taste runs to that type of sound you should like it.
