Title: Schematic for outboard effects level control??????
Post by: akozols on January 11, 2004, 01:42:30 PM
Hi,

I have a Zoom 505 that I use in the effects loop for delay and
chorus.  It would be perfect if I could reduce the level of the
effected sigal compared to the straight signal.

Would anyone have a schematic for some type of level control for the
505 or for an amps effectgs loop?  I'm thinking of making some kind of
fader box that would put some signal thru the effect and some straight
thru, but am not sure what value pots to use.  I also don't know if
it;s better to fade the signal going into the effect, or have the
fader at the output.

thanks, al.

I managed to put the S/B's pan pot on a treadle pedal...pans from whatever I have setup on the left chain to whatever I have setup on the right efkts chain...everything inbetween...if yer slick, you never hear an effect 'pop' in...switching the right side when the left is panned on and vice versa...I'm planning on attaching some 'side' RACO's to it and hardewiring the left and right chains...could still put a selected effect [or two] before, and or after...

Thanks, I might build one when I get the chance(yeah right).  I have a long list of honey-do jobs to get to.
