They vary from $40 to $20.

You may want to try cleaning the pot first, although that is often just a temporary fix.

Hi guys-
there is a great mod for the standard crybaby for different sounds- http:c//www.green-fuz.freeserve.co.uk/wah.html. RG Keen's site has great advize as well- he also includes Craig Anderton's method of fixing a scrathy pot-

I hope these help you.
Cheers,

thanks for the links but the mister crybaby super is far more complex than the standard wah and it's pot is made by clarostat so i don't know if i can even get that one.

I looked around a bot, and I haven't found a pic of the insides, but it sounds like it's a sealed, dual-gang pot.  E-mailing Dunlop is probably your best bet.  They should have a retailer somewhere in your neck of the woods.

Ok, found one thing.  The pot is $50 though dunlop.  Damn.

There must be a better alternative.  Is there any way to break the seal without destroying the pot?

EDIT:
A far easier page to look at:

ya i saw it's a stacked pot myself.... i guese these were custom made so i can't get them from the factory and i'll be surprised if I can get them anywhere but from dunlop.

don't you just hate them?  :D

They have a nice gig going.  Why don't you try to measure the taper?  You could probably do a GEO pot mod and finagle the thing in there.  I'd try that (at $5) before I spent the worth of the pedal on a replacement part.

Who makes their pots?  Is it Clarostat?

yes it's clarostat... it's not my unit (i use the original crybaby) this mister crybaby super unit sucks as a wah and is not the best volume effect neither because it gets silent about half way down.

If it had a set screw and wasn't a dual ganged pot then I have some Clarostats that would do the trick at a fraction of those but prices from Dunlop. Take a look and LMK.
