It's not bypassing anything. And there's no circuitry on the signal path, so :)

i guess what im trying to say is, will this pedal harm my tone if
i have it in my signal chain.

do what?  im wanting to know if the integrity of my tone
will be lost if i use this type of a/b box.

I would remove the two 100K resistors. Their function should already be taken care of by the other pedals and the lowered impedance will eat your high end.
