what else can I ask for? I finally bought a breadboard last night, and I got a snow day to play with it today!
So first thing I laid out was a simple 2n3904 clean boot, then threw hard clipping diodes at the end. Before I realized that the trannie was in backwards, I got a cool swelling sound...volume on the attack, then a quick fade. I'm sure most people here have made that mistake and gotten that, but it was still pretty cool. It was a bit too harsh to make something of, though...I gotta play around some more. Oh, and it sounded pretty good once it was in the right way :-D
